Dr. g Barry Dailey, Senior Pastor

Dr. G Barry Dailey, author of Unleashing the Power of Biblical Problem Solving, and pastor of Southeast Atlanta Seventh Day Baptist Church in Georgia, has been in ministry and corporate leadership for over 40 years - giving him a unique perspective on problem solving. Dr. Dailey holds a Ph.D. in Biblical Counseling from Trinity Theological Seminary, has degrees in Ministry & Theology from Slidell Baptist Seminary, a BA degree from the University of Waterloo, and an Industrial Engineering degree from Mohawk College. In addition, Dr. Dailey is a Certified Quality Engineer, a Six Sigma Black Belt, and is a Board-Certified Mental Health Coach. His passion is to see people live in the fullness of their God-ordained destiny, which is life in abundance. 
 

Background: Dr. Dailey was born in London, England to Jamaican parents. In 1970, his parents migrated to Canada and raised a family of 4 boys and 1 girl. He is married to Lady Gaye, enjoying over 30 years together. They are blessed with two boys (Corbin and Jayson) and two daughters-in-law. The family ministers together in music with a passion to lift the name of Jesus.

 

Ministry History: In 2003, Dr. Dailey founded Café Adonai in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada which is a ministry that promotes physical, spiritual, and emotional well being through the love of Jesus Christ. The Café runs a food bank that supports in excess of 1200 registrants. Dr. Barry was ordained in 2006 to lead in ministry at Café Adonai and provide ministry support to Toronto and Cambridge SDB Church locations. In December of 2010, he accepted the call to serve the South East Atlanta church. 

 

He has a passion for promoting the Gospel of Jesus and seeing people living the abundant life for which Jesus died. Praise and worship music is a large part of his ministry which includes vocals, keyboards, and drums.
