SERVICE MINISTRY

As encouraged in James 2:14-17, the Service Ministry exists to put our faith into action by meeting real, practical needs within our church and community. We believe that genuine faith is not expressed through words alone, but through tangible acts of care, compassion, and generosity.
Guided by Scripture, we are committed to responding to those in need—whether through food, clothing, financial assistance, visitation, or other forms of support—ensuring that no one is overlooked or left without help when it is within our ability to serve.
We approach every opportunity to serve with humility and dignity, seeking not only to meet immediate needs but also to reflect the love of Christ in meaningful and personal ways. Our desire is that through these acts of service, people experience both practical relief and the visible expression of a living faith.
Food Pantry
The food pantry provides food items to members of the community who require assistance. The Pantry is open every other Sunday (from 5:00 PM - 6:00 PM). For more information, click here.
Nursing Home/Hospice
This effort is dedicated to meeting the social and spiritual needs of residents in nursing homes, hospices, and other care facilities. Our team members strive to provide encouragement through worship, prayer, and sharing of God's Word, both individually and in group settings.
Sick & Shut-In
This effort seeks to meet the spiritual needs of members and others who are unable to attend church services. This is accomplished through prayer, visitations, and telephone calls designed to comfort, enlighten, inform, encourage, and strengthen those in need.
Utility Assistance
We provide support for utility assistance (electric, gas, and water) through partnerships with local programs and agencies. Because funding availability can fluctuate, assistance is not always guaranteed, but we strive to connect each person with the best resources available.
